Highly efficient and durable energy nanomaterials are important for highly performing electrochemical energy storage devices such as batteries, fuel cells, electrolysers and super-capacitors. There are various methods to synthesize such materials and recently there has been an upsurge of interest of using ultrasound, sonochemistry and sonoelectrochemistry for the fabrication of energy materials.
