Call for Papers: Virtual Special Issue of the III International Workshop “Thermal Methods for Enhanced Oil Recovery: Laboratory Testing, Simulation and Oilfields Applications” (ThEOR2018), Kazan, Russia, 16 – 19 October 2018 “Improving Efficiency of Oil Recovery by Thermal Methods”
This special issue is devoted to the research, development and application works for improving efficiency of oil recovery by thermal methods. Topics include but are not limited to: In-situ Combustion (wet and dry combustion; High Pressure Air Injection (HPAI); Flue Gas EOR; Steam Flooding; Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD), including solvent-aided and reagent-aided processes; Cyclic Steam Stimulation (CSS); Electromagnetic Heating EOR; Catalytic In-Situ Oil Upgrading; Laboratory Tools for Studying of Thermal EOR; New Equipment for Testing and Field Application of Thermal EOR; Kinetic and Thermochemical Studies of In-Situ Chemical Processes; Modeling and Simulation of Thermal EOR, including development of new software; Production of Unconventional Resources (tight oil, shale oil, tar sands, etc.); Thermal EOR Field Applications; Ecological Impact of Thermal EOR; Thermal EOR Economical Status for one belt one road countries.
