We are organizing a special issue on the topic Emerging Frontiers in Dynamic Nuclear Polarization NMR.
High-frequency dynamic nuclear polarization nuclear magnetic resonance (DNP NMR) spectroscopy is having a significant impact on the research field by breaking down traditional barriers in solid-state NMR. DNP NMR, a high-sensitivity technique is made possible by transferring high polarization from an unpaired electron source to an NMR-active nucleus. Although this approach was initially proposed and proven in the 1950’s, it has taken decades to advance the technique to high field NMR through the pioneering efforts of many. With the commercialization of DNP NMR in the early 21st century, DNP NMR is rewriting the capabilities of NMR spectroscopy, as one of the most powerful analytical spectroscopic tools in magnetic resonance. As the field has witnessed an exponential growth since 2009, this special issue aims to capture the Emerging Frontiers in DNP NMR.
Manuscripts are to be submitted via the online editorial system EVISE® and all manuscripts will be peer-reviewed.
