The goal of this special issue is to highlight the problem of reproducibility and its solutions within the field of neuroimaging. The scope of the special issue will include: analyses of reproducibility of neuroimaging research, methodological studies investigating the factors that reduce reproducibility and methods to improve it, and meta-scientific analyses of the factors that affect reproducibility. Novel research studies are within the scope if they constitute a direct replication of a previous published study, or a meta-analysis aimed to quantifying reproducibility.
