JML seeks to highlight research on computational modelling in all areas of memory research, including short-term/working memory, episodic memory, semantic memory, and implicit memory. Articles should present new research, such as the development of a new model, the application of one or several competing existing model(s) to experimental data, or a new test of predictions derived formally from an existing model. It is important to relate the model or models to empirical data to demonstrate their explanatory power.
