Security and convenience are among the central concerns for developing safe and secure environments, and biometrics and smart sensors are core technologies for facilitating the required level of security and convenience. Significant progresses have been made in many fields of biometrics and sensor technology, and more technological breakthroughs and new applications are expected in the coming years. This workshop aims to promote interactions between researchers, scholars, practitioners, engineers and students from across industry and academia on all aspects of biometrics and smart sensors. It will include both oral and poster presentations. We are soliciting original works that address a wide range of issues including, but not limited to :
•Biometric algorithms, databases, protocols and applications for smart cities;
•Biometrics-enabled managements;
•Biometrics on smart devices;
•Smart sensors and applications;
•Integration of biometrics and sensors.
