The 25th Asia-Pacific Software Engineering Conference (APSEC 2018) will be held in Nara, Japan, December 4-7, 2018.
Established in 1993, the APSEC is a leading international forum on full-spectrum software engineering and technology, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region. APSEC 2018 aims to bring together software engineering profession including researchers, practitioners, and educators to describe important new research results and report valuable project experiences, and to foster wider communications and collaborations among academia, industry, and government.
The theme of APSEC 2018 is "Software Engineering in the Wild." Under the concept of Software Defined Everything (SDx), embedded and ubiquitous software manages everything in our lives. In such software-intensive systems, software meets various kinds of realities in our lives and must be reliable in real world situations. Moreover, software engineering is required to involve various achievements in different fields. Software engineering is facing wild challenges rather than tame problems.
APSEC 2018 will feature technical research track sessions, Software Engineering in Practice (SEIP) track sessions, Early Research Achievements (ERA) track sessions, poster sessions, and workshops.
