Overview
5G is in the way of revolutionising a number of key industries including media, healthcare, telecommunications, transportation, agriculture, manufacturing, etc. An agile network with smart management is a key factor to accommodate the diversified services from these industries, and to ensure the success of this revolution. On the other hand, a smart energy management is required in many applications, e.g., wireless power tranmission for UAV charging and green data centers, and is therefore an important factor to make a sustainable revolution of these industries.
This workshop will address the important problems and challenges caused by the smart management of networks and energy. The workshop aims to bring together computer scientists and engineers in different disciplines to share and exchange their experience and ideas and discuss state-of-the-art and in-progress research on all aspects of smart networks, energy and management.
SmartCNS-2019 is the conference on Smart Networks, Energy and Management, previously held as SmartNEM-2018 (Exeter, UK,June 2018) WNM-2017 (Exeter, UK, June 2017), WNM-2016 (Sydney, Australia, December 2016), WNM-2015 (Liverpool, UK, October 2015), WNM-2014 (Dalian, China, August 2014), WNM-2013 (Melbourne, Australia, July 2013), WNM-2012 (Liverpool, UK, June 2012), WNM-2011 (Changsha, China, November 2011), and HMWN-2010 (Bradford, UK, June 2010).
