Translation is not only a crucially important bridge of communication across the world, but also a tool for human experience and general and specialized knowledge transfer. Without it, humanity remains a prisoner to narrow regions divided on the basis of the languages used therein, where these regions remain entangled in a cultural isolation that is hard to break.
Since a long a time, translation has emerged as an important instrument for communication among speakers of different languages, who live in incongruous cultural environments, thus contributing to breaking the language barriers, and to bringing together different people and cultures. Rather, translation has converted the world into a small global village, where direct human-to-human communication takes place quite smoothly.
